Watercolor on Arches 140 lb cold press. 11x15; framed 20 1/2 x 24 1/2. 2nd in series. This is the scene I woke up to each morning, looking out my bedroom window while staying at Maison Blanche in France. The cat sat on the stone wall like a "guard" and the little house which the Monks had used to make their bread from chestnuts was aglow with sunlight. It has survived several centuries.
