As you know I love including red in my art. The Vuelta chooses red as their highest honor jersey to wear. Chris Froome, wearing the red jersey as the overall winner of the Vuelta into Madrid chose a special bike. I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate his victory with a painting of his "bike." I like the abstracted shadows of fellow cyclists and their bikes as they headed into Madrid that last day.
