Crab Saved from Sea Gulls See @ Giustina Gallery
Mixed Media on 6x6x1.5 cradle sealed. Watercolors and Gesso juice were used to create this painting then sealed with archival varnish. Our frequent walks on the beach at Seaside this time was rescuing a little crab just washed up on the sand and the sea gulls were after it. I had been wanting to paint a crab and now I had this special little guy in enough detail to paint and he was safely put back in the surf to survive another day.
