Watching the 2022 Tour de France was fun to see some of my favorites, like Primoz Roglic, still cycling. I have taken many images of the helmets in the start house of the time trials over the years but this one spoke to me because of the cyclist but mostly the reflections from his visor showing the ramp and road ahead. It turns out to be very textured with this surface but this adds to the abstract nature of the painting. It was really lots of fun creating this one right after the first day of the Tour.
