Antique Wagon Chehalem Mountain
Watercolor on Arches 300 lb rough 15 x 20; framed 23 x 29.
We were driving one of the cycling routes on Chehalem Mountain when we came across this antique wagon sitting near the road. The beautiful fall colors and sunlight hitting the wagon were just begging to be painted. I used the concentrated pigments of Dr. Ph. Martin Hydrus Watercolors so the vivid colors would come through. I used various techniques to achieve the texture.
I taught a class with Anji Grainger on how to paint with Dr. Ph. Martin Hydrus Watercolors using this painting as a guide.
