Welcome to my website
The 21 days of the Tour de France and the Vuelta Espana which finishes (Sunday, 9/16 in Madrid) took up a lot of my time. It was amazing as usual for these professionals to endure the environment and the stress of the competition for so many days. I have some new favorites that I would like to give credit to by painting them in action and of course, Geraint Thomas for keeping the "Yellow Jersey" for so many days and winning it in Paris--First Welchman to win the Tour. So keep your eye out for these paintings over the next several months. The Vuelta started in Malaga and ends in Madrid. The scenery has been spectacular and it is still up to about 4 cyclists who will win the Vuelta -- Simon Yates has been at the top of the pack for many days. Hope you can stream it too.
Check out my "About" tab to see a slideshow of my paintings on Yupo. I've added my latest paintings using Acrylics rather than Watercolor -- can you see any differences between the two media? If you can see the difference, leave me a comment. I would like your opinion on which you prefer.
Check out my "blog" to see the paintings I have been producing from the techniques taught at the workshop at Oregon Society of Artists (OSA) the first week in June by Sandy Maudlin and my choice for a new series, French Doors.
You can place your order for the 2019 Custom Fancy Footwork Desktop Calendar in the "Specialty Art Items" tab. Be sure to check out the the original art and prints as well as for any last minute gift ideas for the high school graduates who will be heading off to college with a special wall art to decorate his/her dorm room. Recent college graduates will be heading out into the world to find jobs and it is really nice for them to have a special piece of art to decorate their new place.
