In the slideshow below you will see paintings completed in 2018 to present except those which were sold. You can click on each painting for more information about the painting. I have added a simple mat/frame for you to view if it needs a frame.
TOUR de FRANCE 2020 I have spent each day of the 21 days of the Tour de France getting up early to stream the action of the day's stage. I was never disappointed by the action and accomplishments of the cyclists. So many new faces on the racing scene that made a name for themselves in the stage wins. I have taken some really wonderful photos of the action and the scenery. The last two stages were record breaking because of the timing of the time trial and the outcome with the tough climb affected who was to wear the Yellow Jersey riding into Paris for the final stage. The Green Jersey was also up for grabs in Paris with the points given to the intermediate sprint and the final sprint depending on who won -- Peter Sagan or Sam Bennett. I loved how Peter said he didn't feel the last stage should determine the green jersey and conceded it to Bennett by not going for either of the points. I was able to keep up my blog for the first 8 stages (click on the Blog tab). Unfortunately, the smoke from the wildfires got so bad here in Portland that it made it very hard to concentrate. Then two family members lost their homes and all their belongings in the Phoenix, Oregon wildfire. Other friends had to evacuate and several lost their homes as well around the state.
Last week I sat down and sketched 3 paintings of images that were good designs and had action that I think both cyclist and art lovers will enjoy as well. I finished one which you can see above and did post it on Facebook October 2nd. Stay tuned for the next two -- check back often.

The Artist Reception and Art Walk is November 7th from 5-7 pm. I hope to see you there. Check out my News Tab for additional photos and information on the gallery.

Looking at the images in my galleries gives you an immediate impression but it is important to see what is looks like hanging and if it is matted/framed what that adds to complete the painting.
