Lake Oswego 59th Festival of Art June 24-26, 2022
Street address: Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034
Saturday and Sunday hours: Artist Reception is Saturday at 9:00 am. Show opens at 10:00 -6:00 pm and Sunday: 10:00-5:00 pm. You can see my 7 paintings seen below on Panel #6. Artists will have their art hung together in panels which is new and very excited to see the show hung this way. You have to catch the bus from the parking lots -- I usually park in the lot opposite LO HS.
About the Festival of the Arts: The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is an arts education event of the Lakewood Center for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. It is held the weekend after Father's Day each year and attracts nearly 25,000 people. Contributions to the Festival are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our tax ID number is 93-0700108.
After show report: It was an amazing show of art that so many people didn't get a chance to see because of the hot weather. I heard that the sales were down with the reduced number of people in attendance (at least in the Tent Open Show). Would like to hear about your comments if you did attend from my contact page or direct email). Thanks for supporting me in my art career.

The Artist Reception will be held on Saturday, November 7th from 5-7 pm. I hope to see you there.
You can see my art from the front of the store against the back wall. The lighting in the Gallery is really great and so the colors really pop across the room. The photographer took this photo.

30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge with Leslie Saeta, January, 2014.
Making a collage of the art created during the Challenge says a little something about who I am as a person as well as an artist. My love of color certainly comes through. Choosing to paint specific and varied topics made it a little more difficult but satisfying. This was a creative journey and the daily adventure led to some paintings which you love, some you don't and maybe a few that you can consider finished and put on the website.. I'll have to settle back down to my daily routine of painting without the challenge of producing a painting by the end of the day. Thanks to Leslie Saeta for hosting this challenge and to each person who "liked" and posted comments.
The journey continues. My excitement and passion to produce new works is stronger than ever. I have finished several of the paintings started during the Challenge and you can find them for sale in the "My Paintings" tab.
If you want more details about my feelings and the process of each painting you can see them on my blog http://www.dianagnadal.blogspot.com or contact me with your questions via email mailto:[email protected]
