Mixed Media: watercolor on Aquabord sealed 11" x 14" x 1/8"; wood frame 13" x 16" This awesome sunflower was part of the still life in Karen Vernon's workshop. I walked around the grounds and photographed the sunflowers which gave an added sense of the sunflower to paint. There were so many beautiful flowers purchased for the workshop that I should be doing several other paintings in this series.
