St. Emilion Inner City Ruin

One of my favorite places to visit in France is St. Emilion. It is well known for its wine but I love its quaint and beautiful buildings. The caves underneath the town have been created as the limestone was mined for many years. Many of the walls of the original structures still are standing, like this one. Walking through the lower door you enter a park where families are eating and playing games.
