With about five miles and a final climb to go, a lead group containing Rafal Majka, Team Bora, Team LottoNL-Jumbo's George Bennett, Team Sky's Ian Boswell and Team Dimension Data's Lachlan Morton moved forward with two chase groups not far behind. Majka wore the Yellow Jersey until the last day when George Bennett won the entire event. They both deserved to be singled out to paint at this stage of the event.
