Sometimes you feel very lucky when you get an image that speaks to you instantly that you decide to sit down and start painting. This is one of those images. The expression on each of their faces said a lot. There actually were two other cows in the pasture besides the bull in the pen behind but she seemed to be the babysitter of these three adorable calves. I deleted the barbed wire fencing and gave it a title that each of us might be feeling being mandated to our homes. Lots of layers of transparent watercolor. I tried to keep the background as simple as possible.
