Peonies are top on my list to purchase for the yard. This tree peony has brought me so much joy outside and inside. It was a gift for Mother's Day from my husband and it has flourished in our front yard for all to enjoy. It has so many large flowers each year I look forward to sharing the bloom with neighbors and family. Yellows are probably the most difficult because the value change is so limited but I occasionally try to produce paintings with yellow domination. I love the leaves on this particular variety of tree peony as well. The centers of this flower remind me of little hens. I will paint those next time as the focal point.
