Coral Bleaching in Hawaii Print #5
16.5 x 16 Archival Print on Enhanced Matte; 18 x18 in black frame .
Printed from an original watercolor on hot press paper using watercolor, gouache, iridescent paints and acrylic to develop the coral which is dying due to the warming of the oceans around Hawaii. My sister-in-law was one of several who tracked the changing of the coral and she shared this photo with me to paint. In June they made a trip to see the progress and it is good news a lot of the coral has come back.
