When you are painting in a challenge of a painting a day, you go back into your journey. Horses, especially at the Derby, come to mind. I had to paint a horse in this challenge. I was commissioned to paint Rachel Alexandra after the Preakness win. She was 2009's Horse of the Year. It was easy fun to paint her again.
