Watercolor over mixed media using texturing techniques with wax paper. I played up the elements found in the painting when it dried and added a few line elements to lead you to the focal point. This painting is double matted and framed 21 h x 17 w. Visiting one of the oldest caves while we were in the Dordogne several years ago had a lasting impression of that experience.
