This print was made from an original watercolor created on hot press paper using watercolor, gouache, iridescent paints and acrylic. The coral at this stage is dying due to the warming of the oceans around Hawaii.
My sister-in-law was one of several who tracked the changing of the coral. She shared this photo with me to paint. Hopefully some of the coral will come back as in past years.
