Watercolor Sealed on 12 x 12 x 2 Hardwood Cradle
It is always a pleasure to paint for the Annual Fund Raiser at OSA, particularly this year. Painting on a hardwood panel adds to the workload of having to seal the wood from the watercolors but this time I used watercolor grounds to do this. It brings some different textures to the surface which was interesting for this particular painting where I probably didn’t need the extra texture.
Using lots of color, a love of wine and being able to set up a still life capturing reflections from inside and outside made this a creative work of love. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did painting it.
