I created 36 paintings on 6"x6"x1/8" AquaBord tiles by placing the webbing in a variety of patterns and then spraying each tile separately with different color combinations of Dr. Ph. Martin Hydrus Watercolors. This gives me a body of work to refer to when creating paintings for my newest Nature series.
I played with different color combinations and patterns over several weeks before deciding on dividing them into 3 12-tile units. These have been mounted on masonite and are ready for framing. Each one has a unique feel and movement. I would appreciate any comments on which one you like best and whether you like them hung vertically or horizontally. I have thoroughly enjoyed this process.

Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to

AuthorSharing my paintings with others is one of the joys in my life. Educating others about how I paint and the media I use is very important and why I wanted to reach out through this blog. Hope you will add a comment about what you see. What else would you like to see here?. Archives
